Through 2017, my makeup game went from okay to slay, and along the way I've found some great products that sit on top of my vanity. Here are 6 products that I haven't been able to put down this year.
Neutrogena Shine Control Primer
This was a weird discovery. I don't generally love Neutrogena's makeup but this primer smooths and mattifies the skin, perfect for a long wear makeup application.
Clinique Chubby in the Nude Foundation Stick
I was so surprised by how well this foundation wore! With is natural finish and light to medium finish, this foundation has been my go to for a couple of months now. Paired with the Neutrogena primer, it lasts through a long day of school and dance.
ELF Baked Highlight
I know that this highlighter has gotten a lot of hate, but I love it! I purchased Moonlight Pearls and it gives me the most gorgeous buildable highlight, perfect for my light skin.
Essence Satin Touch Blush
This $3 blush is a miracle. It is so pigmented, blends like a dream, and has the most gorgeous soft matte finish, perfect for wear with or without makeup. There are only shades, but the coral and mauve are very flattering on many skin tones.
Lorac PRO Palette
This is one of the original eyeshadow palettes, and I can see why it is still a staple in so many people's makeup routines. All 16 of the neutral shades blend so well and are extremely pigmented. I have traveled with this palette so many times because it is so versatile. It is great from the most natural, basic looks to dark smokey eyes.
Clinique Pop Lip Colour+ Primer
These lippies come in so many shades! I love the original formula because it is moisturizing yet still lasts pretty well without feathering or getting messy. My favorite colors are "Love Pop" and "Plum Pop" and I wear them all the time with makeup or with a light application without makeup.
